This is the first 15.4-inch laptop which is offering both Intel’s brand new Core 2 Extreme X9000 and a GeForce 8800M GTX graphics solution. It is mainly designed for Gaming. When compared with the Alienware Area-51 m9750 it is far better .The m15x comes standard with Windows Vista Home Premium Operating system and is also offered with Vista Ultimate and XP Professional. Great battery life for this laptop is good Standard battery life is about 2.5 hours and with the Smart Bay battery, 4 to 5 hours are possible . Alienware offers a 1-year warranty with 24/7 tech support and onsite service with the m15x. Two- and three-year warranties are available at a cost of $200 and $300 respectively.
